Established in 1948 by Harry B. Ogle, Camp O-Ki-Hi stands as a dedicated haven for the youth of scouting. Nestled in the heart of California's gold country, the camp lies approximately 110 miles north of Sacramento, near the scenic Sierra City and the majestic Sierra Buttes. Privately owned and operated by three Troops from Sacramento, CA, Camp O-Ki-Hi offers a world of adventure and growth.
As part of Troop 99, our scout-led program presents a diverse array of activities and opportunities to earn merit badges, including hiking in Sierra Buttes, learning lifesaving skills, swimming lessons and fishing in the crystal lakes, as well as archery, cooking in the wilderness and more!
